Ink System Failure error on a Photosmart c6180

I have an Ink System Failure error on a Photosmart c6180
HP: I am sorry to know that. However, let me help you sort this right away or Let me see what best I can do to help you with this.
Customer: I have gone through two troubleshooting procedures for errors 0xcc18xxxxx
Customer: None of them work
Customer: My error code is 0xc18a0101
HP: Thank you for the info.
Customer: This happened when I installed brand new cartridges
HP: Lets try with some troubleshooting steps.
HP: A. - Press and hold the “*” key.
B. - Press the “#” key and release both keys.
Display should say “Enter Special Key Combo”
C. - Press and release in sequence the “1”, “2” and “3” buttons
HP: Are you performing the above steps?
Customer: The printer is in another office
Customer: What happens after I do this procedure?
Customer: Will it fix it?
HP: I suggest you to perform the troubleshooting steps on the All-in-One
Customer: So what happens after 1-2-3?
…
Customer: it does
HP: Press and release the “OK” Button. Message changes to “Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue”.
Customer: ok do I press cancel?
HP: Yes.
HP: Press and release the “CANCEL” button as many times as necessary, so that, either the “Welcome to Photosmart Express” screen appears, or, the “Ink System Failure” screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.
Customer: It says "welcome to photosmart express"
HP: Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
HP: Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer
Customer: ok waiting 30 seconds
HP: Okay.
Customer: now its plugged in…
HP: Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”.
HP: Press OK. The Printer will start the “ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS”.
HP: Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.
Customer: MEssage "Improper shutdown, to avoid damage use the On button to shutdown the printer..."
HP: Please go ahead with pressing “ON” button.
Customer: "shutting down"
Customer: NOw its off
HP: Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”. Press OK.
Customer: message: "welcome to photosmart express"
HP: Using the Power Button, please turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
Customer: done. unit is off and unplugged
HP: Now plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer.
Customer: cable is now plugged back into wall and then connected to printer
HP: Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”. Press OK.
Customer: unit is on, message "welcome to photosmart express" on screen
HP: Please press Ok and let me know the result.
Customer: Photosmart express 4 panel display - first panel "view & print" selected.
Customer: brb
HP: Now try to copy and let me know the result.
Customer: ok
Customer: it made a copy!
HP: Great!!
HP: Now let us try to print a self-test page to check the functionality.
HP: Press Setup menu on the All-in-One then scroll using the arrow key and select Print Report then select Self Test Report.
Customer: ok i have the print report
HP: That's great!!
