I'm looking for some advice from you guys that are currently selling to Public School Systems.
I know this topic has probably been covered a hundred times over but please chime in for me.
I've been approached by a teacher in the local public school district that is willing to help me get my foot in the door with the school. He has informed me that the school principal ultimately oversees that school's budget and direct the school's computer guy where to buy supplies
from. This school district has 8 schools in it.
What would be your approach to this school?
My approach will be the following:
1. The teacher said he is willing put personally give a flyer to the principal, superintendent, and all of the teachers for me.
2. I make a short video on my website explaining how I can save the school money, my warranty, re-ordering and etc. The link to this webpage will be on the flyer.
3. Wait a week and follow up with the principal, ask him if he got the flyer and see if I can meet with him to talk further about saving the school money and etc.
Then rinse and repeat this for each local school district in my area.
Please give me your input
