The TN-350 is one of our most popular cartridges and we have not had any issues with it until once, when a cartridge would not register in customer's printer.

When I went out to look at the printer, I noticed that the drive spindle (the part in the printer which comes out when the door is closed to engage with the cartridge) is spinning loosely. I suspect a gear which drives that spindle broke. It was an older printer.

However, I did notice that in the TN cartridges that we reman the developer roller does not turn as freely as it does in OEM. We test all the cartridges in our printer and still have not had any issues.

I tried cleaning all the old grease and putting on new grease. I tried many different things, however, could not make the roller turn eaiser similar to the way they do in OEM virgin cartridges?

Any ideas?

Thanks.
