HP CLJ 2550 ... WON'T READ MAGENTA CARTRIDGE!

I have got one of the HP CLJ 2550 printer from customer for repair, and it is not accepting any magenta cartridge at all!
We first installed our reman with new chip ..... red light blinks
Then the customer put in a brand new OEM ..... red light blinks
Only the magenta cartridge ... the printer wouldn't accept any of the magenta cartridge at all!
