I am debating if I sould outsource or not completely. I have all the equipment and I am working a full time job still while trying to grow my business. I have a pretty good inventory of cores and
supplies to fill some popular cartridges that my existing customers use but as I get new ones they use items I do not have
supplies for and I keep adding to my SKU's . I sit back and start thinking about as I make money I use it to buy more parts I did not have before and between ink,
chips,
drums, boxes, etc.... then the shipping for all these items and the time it takes to reman them wondering if outsourcing is the answer.
I feel that if I outsource I will be loosing touch with what is going on in the cartridge arena. Then I ask myself what to do with all the equipment I bought. I am doing this all my self and trying to find time to go to work, place orders for the items I need, reman the cartridges and get them out, taking care of the books and everything else it is killing me. I would love to quit my full time job and grow this thing like I know I can. But the wife is scared so I have to give something up but not sure how I should do this. Was thinking of maybe just outsourcing some stuff this way it wont be such a burdeon for me to try to fit everything in. Anyone else face this issue? I am pretty new started out in Nov 08 and doing this right out of my house. I only deal with business accounts so they could care less where I produce the products as long as the save money. Also I have spoken with a CW owner in my town and he said his is just breaking even with the rent, royalties and everything else he has to pay for so I thought that running out of the house would really keep my overhead low.
