I got into the business in February 1989, and by 1996 was netting 100K+, 45K car bought for cash by by my company, an Apartment in our building, plus our shop, offices & 2 other residential units.
The 4800 sq ft building had its open mortgage paid off in 37 months. I sold it all in 2002 to go back to the west coast. Some people said I got out at the right time, and I've noticed nowadays that there are fewer Rmfg companies of our size & type, and way too many inkjet supplies outlets.

I'm not greedy, just looking for another sales/ marketing opportunity that realistically could perform half as well with a lot of work.

Office/ IT/ communcations products & services are what I know best and where have the most contacts.

We tried generic Laptop/ Notebook replacement batteries, but never could get the price to do enough volume - but that's the sort of thing we're looking for.

I expect to pay a reasonable price for the right opportunity, and am quite happy to start with no clients. Franchise arrangements are of low interest compared to a dealer/ reseller plan. Due diligence will be thorough, but the right plan can be completed promptly. Western Canada and perhaps the U S Pacific Northwest are of interest geographically.
