A customer bought a Black/Yellow OEM printhead from us about 2 months ago, when their old one failed after being used for about 2 years.
The printhead was fine until this morning. The
printer did not print, so the customer opened the toolbox and tried to do a printhead cleaning. However, the display on the
printer showed an error message stating there was a problem with the black/yellow printhead. The customer tried powering off/on the
printer and also tried reinstalling the printhead. It did not help.
The printhead supposed to be good at least till October 2010 (as stated on the package).
I believe I could get them another printhead. However, if there is something wrong with the
printer that triggers the printhead failure, this problem will reoccur soon.
Any ideas please?
