getting started?

Just want to know how everyone get started in this industry?
For me, I started 6 months ago. In the beginning can't even tell between inkjet and laserjet. We use to outsource everything but now we remanufactured most of our inkjet. since most of you have been in this industry for awhile. I figure I'll learn from you guy so i may avoid some of the pitfall i may accrue. Thank-you all for sharing.
