HP Color Laser Jet 1600 will not dis-engage the cartridges.. Posted: Fri Oct 16, 2009 02:45 AM
Not sure where to look, but my HP 1600 test printer will no longer release the cartridges when the door is opened. The drive gear which engages with the toners does not seem to retract. I need to use a hook tool to try to remove the cartridge. Is there an easy fix? Where should I look? Thanks. -AP_
