Does anyone remove the white plastic piece behind the Dr. Blade on these cartridges? At first I thought it was to make it difficult to fill or prevent the rebuilder from inserting a seal. But I have also noticed the aftermarket hoppers have them. So is there a purpose for it? We usually just remove them and have not seen any problems.
