This poll and topic is to see if some of the store owners are making a living or any profit in this business. Some people think that if you are using outsourced products that you must be making money to afford this extra expense. Others think that if you can afford to contribute to this site monetarily that you are very well off.

After taking this poll, could you also briefly explain your selection?

Before I got into this business, I was downsized by HP, where I was making over $100K per year. I used part of my retirement and severance money to open our franchisee store. Now after 3 years we are finally starting to see positive cash flow. Our business is paying for all of our auto expenses, health and life insurances, and an owners salary of $30K for each my wife and I.

I figure that it is almost the same expense to our business whether we refill in house and pay the extra employees pay and benefits as it does to outsource our products. This also frees up some of mine and my wife's time to concentrate on sales; I rather be a retail store then a remanufacturer... Smile
