For those that dont know, I started in 96 doing toners on the patio of my moms condo, and fixing printers on her kitchen counter

She LOVED it
Anyway, when everything went to crap in 05/06 I had a 3500 sq ft shop,
HP among others ASP, 2 service techs, 1 f/t cartridge remanufacturer, tons of service, etc. So I grew the business.
I am looking to get back in. I have made a clean break from my last gig. Unfortuneatly, to put money on the table, I hade to take a job as a collection agent, collecting on old pay day loans. The good thing is its work from home, and I can work on the business a couple hours a day, and I can have my wife help, as she ran the office for the old business.
With all that being said, I want to start doing networking, computer repair etc for small businesses. I am working on A+, then network certification. After that I want to get into VoIP.
What do you think? too late to start learning all that? I am 34.
I thought small business networking would be good. the big companies have too much overhead
IMO to be able to do small jobs cheap for most small businesses.
