So, I have most of the pieces in place. The only issue I have is moisture getting out of the vessel and contaminating the vacuum pump. Once the moisture enters the pump and contaminates the oil, the pump looses it's effectiveness and is not able to maintain deep vacuum.
I have tried running the air through rice. I have tried coiling a lot of the line and cooling it down in a bucket of ice before going into the rice. I have tried to create a very long line and make the water climb up an incline so that it does not reach the top and fall into the pump. However, these efforts have failed and the moisture still gets past these traps and contaminates the oil in the pump.
If anyone has boilers from Promax/RJetTek or (
SEE THIS) can you look and see what device they use for water separation? Am I just using the wrong pump? Are there are vacuum pumps which are not effected by moisture and work on different principle?
Can someone point me in the right direction? I am so close, but yet cannot figure out this one part.
Thanks.
