Hi there,
I just got back a few hundred cartridges and with the exception of the 78, 20, 49 style printheads, noticed they do not tape them anymore. They use the silicone bandaid for the others now.
I just tried a 56. It didn't blot very well and printed with many streaks. When I sprayed it, it printed fine. I then opened a Lex 26 and no ink blot. Haven't printed with it yet though.
This is alarming. I called them and they said the blue tape is incorporated in the pad on the clip. Well, it isn't looking like it works very well. They asked how many cleaning cycles I did. This doesn't sound like a good response.
This is only the second time I've had to use their service.
Does anyone use their RME program? What has been your experience?
