I got my daughter this electronic microscope a few years ago (it's called the Bionicam, at wal-mart for $100) and thought I'd see if I could use it to see printhead nozzles.

I first tried on a 97, but it was too dark for some reason. I tried it on an 88 printhead since it's much larger and I'm attaching what I got. the last picture (pic031_resized) has dried ink that you can see clearly. The rest were taken after I steamed it. I believe they are the nozzle area, but the camera is a little unwieldy and difficult to focus as well as tell where I'm putting it exactly. I also had tyo resize these in order to upload so you can't see them as well Maybe some photoshop pro can lighten these and make them look better? Let me know what you make of these!
