Got a call from a customer today stating that they noticed toner down the side of their printer and was this normal? Obviously I need to call in and see what the actual problem is but can it happen and under what circumstances, or is it more than likely a faulty/leaking cartridge? Are these carts prone to problems, such as the waste hopper overfilling for example?

What got me thinking was a reply from BillA to another topic where he said he offers to clean a customers printer with every 5 carts purchased. This makes me think that perhaps they do need cleaning from toner issues, but maybe I misunderstood the reply.

Would just like to be prepared for monday as this may be a tricky customer.
