We have the screen welder from (
SEE THIS) for both the 16/70 and the 34/82 styles of cartridges. However, we are finding out that the welder does not hold the heat at a constitant temp, which is leaving some of the screen's welded and some partially, and then some not at all. This of course is very frustrating. We are hoping to avoid paying $1400 for a good welder screen kit.
So my questions are:
1. What welder are you using for the
Lexmark screens, if it is not one from the inkjet equipment companies?
2. What tips are you using to get the screen welded on? Did you get one made or were able to use another tip on a better welder?
3. Side note: Is anyone using a solder with a cutting tip to cut out the walls in the
Lexmarks?
