HP CP 2025n color registration offset

I've got a customer with a CP2025n that the color registration is off on the left side of the page really bad. The diagnostics page corner brackets are way off on the left and a little on the right.
I've tried several calibrations and it doesn't really seem to help. It's got the latest firmware and I've also tried to restore to the factory defaults to no avail.
My next step will be to start swapping out cartridges, but I don't think that will do it. Any other suggestions, thoughts, ideas?
