HP promotes HP Renew remanufactured products.
Hewlett-Packard is promoting remanufactured products on its Asia Pacific Web site, through its HP
, which “offers a broad range of quality remanufactured products,” and defines remanufactured products as, “different to used products. As good as new at lower prices.”
“It seems that many people believe that used products are the same as remanufactured or refurbished products, but actually they are completely different,” said Masaharu Maeda, sales manager of the Equipment Management & Remarketing Sales Department at HP
Japan, in an official release.
Renew products, which the company claims are about 15 percent less than new products, include surplus stock as well as products originally intended for demonstration use. But HP guarantees that all HP
Renew products are certified and have passed rigorous HP
Renew Refurbishment and quality inspection processes.
