G'day folks,

Can anyone help me. I have been doing quite a few of the Samsung carts for the CLP-610 and 660 printers. I am wondering what the small foam roller behind the PCR is for and why are they in some carts and not others. also, on the developer side of the cartridges that have that foam roller, there is a steel rod just in front of the dev roller. Once again, they are not in all carts.

What are they, and what are their functions????
