In this thread we share comical and strange things that happen while marketing, remanning, selling or dealing with customers.

Sometime in March
Several months ago I'm marketing cold, go into a business and right away I see OEM cartridges in a corner. Atleast 7 boxes. I look closer and determine they're un-used. The guy comes out and asks if he can help me ...

I'm salivating as I give my pitch. He hears me thru, and I'm sure he's going to bite.

Then he replies, no thanks I only use maybe one per year

I just thanked him for his time and left. But really wanted to say something like "Oh (As I pointed to the corner) well I guess you're set up for the next 7 years....


Another strange story.

Same day marketing I go into a computer store. I look for Cartridges (to make sure they don't sell them) - I don't see any, then deliver my pitch. They also hear me out, then at the end simply reply " We don't use Printers "

I thought it was kind of strange. They don't print anything??
