Hi,
I came across a strange issue few days back thought i"ll share with you guys.

One of my client buys 42a regularly from us & we never had any returns.
we made 7 42a toners with MKI drum, OEM PCR, New WB, New DB. Out of 7 toners 4 have oem Mags & toner & 3 have After market mags & MKI toner.
Whenever client prints for e.g configuration page, a bold line which reads "4350 printer" is repeated at 3 intervals. 1st one dark & then light. We tried with an original toner also but problem remained. All these toners have been tested before sending them to the client & we did not get any such problem.
but in the same printer if i insert client's half used toner & print configuration page, i dot see any repetition.
I changed the fuser in the same printer & problem disappeared.
Client agreed that it is Fuser issue but why his toner is not printing repetition. I had no answer for that.
Next day we went with digital microscope to check printouts to see any faint marks. We were able to see faint repetition using his old toner. Client was convinced & suddenly his toner also started showing problem very clearly.
For us, Friday was nightmare. Fear of loosing client. Luckily our investment in the equipment paid.
Thank you guys for answering my PM immd.
Rgds,
Sanjay
