I've come across it before, and today is a perfect example. McMan, I hope you don't mind me using your situation for illustrative purposes but today you were looking for help on a HP 2300 which Mike very generously offered to basically give you. What he didn't know was that you're not based in the States but in Nigeria. I've seen numerous examples similar to this in the past and the question I can't understand is why doesn't everyone put their location up? Even if it was just the country, or the continent for that matter, at least we would have some idea of where everyone actually is, and I really can't see that anyone would be giving anything away as those who for whatever reason like anonymity don't use their full name or company name anyhow.
