I had a customer come in today to tell us that this printer model is rejecting the cartridges (901BK/C) when he puts them in his printer. He told us he believes there is a chip in the printer that it can only read originals and rejects remans. Has anybody heard about this?

We test the 901 with the J4580 printer and it is fine.
