sounds simple, but the rubber on the wheels that escort the paper out, have stretched, and poke out to the top of the guide, a loop of rubber.

this appears as an assembly.

ideas to remove the assembly? we have removed the covers,

and the black plastic anchor at the left side of the printer.

its looks nasty, but the customer loves the printer.
