I was at a clients today that had two T650 cartridges for label applications, completely seize up mid cycle. So they did not get so hot that the wiper blade melted to the
drum and it was not like a flipped wiper blade where you can rotate the
drum backwards and fix it, these cartridges would have took a pipe wrench to get the
drum to budge. Anyway,
Lexmark must be aware of the issue since they sent two new replacement
printers and new cartridges. The
printers seemed to be ok but
Lexmark wanted them back for some reason and I don't believe they were under warranty, I don't know for sure we were just there for their Xerox
copier. So if you have a customer that has a cartridge that experiences this type of symptom have them contact
Lexmark they may not just have to settle for a cartridge replacement.
