Our customer's fuser has 2% life remaining on their fuser in
HP Color Laserjet CP6015. We ordered new CB457A about
60 days ago and still on back order. Customer has very
critical proposal to submit to their clients which is 20,000
pages. HP in Canada could not confirm if the printer would
automatically lock up at 0% or allow them to continue with
this major print job. Can anyone advise us if the existing
fuser will stop the unit? We have extended the operating
cycle of the drums in this unit beyond the 35,000 yield by
making changes in service mode. We cannot find anything
in service mode relating to fuser life being extendable.
Any input from the members would be much appreciated.
Thanks
