Post Toner tech's production expectations

Hi all,

I have been meaning to post this for a bit, so finally taking the time to do so. I have wondered what others expectations of their toner tech's production goals are. I know when I was building, I would hit easy twice what it seems I can get out of mine now.

This question would be geared more for those who have full time techs I suppose to get a real idea, but any input is greatly appreciated.

There was a recent post where one tech at a company was hitting in the high 400's a month.

I will say that I am lucky to get 9-12 cartridges a day at best in an 8 hour day. This is with some cleanup, putting away small quantities of supplies that come in, etc. An unpaid hour lunch and two 10 minute paid breaks. Other than building, total other tasks should average well less than an hour a day.

I can build easily 3-4 an hour of "normal" HP monochromes. This is with testing and packaging included. I should mention techs do package and test their own. They have full ownership of everything they intitial as their own build. And we do test all outgoing product in test machines. I know it depends on what they are building as to what number to expect but everyone should have an overall average. I just wonder if we should look at our production models for better effeciency, if possible, without harming quality.

Thanks for any input.
