I was very happy for the new chips for lexmark T650 launched by SCC
but after talking with their rep I became very angry-bird and i will explain why
first the price of 35usd per chip which is chutspa second the risk of buying them and not get any replace if customer made a firmware update I believe that if you sell in such price you should at list give it guarantee so I made a decision for it
until this days any of my customers who bought a lexmark printer and called to by recycled one had my explanation that lexmark blocks his decision to by recycled one by their chips and force him to by theirs only and he can get from me anew hp printer with new toner for the same price of two toners for his lexmark and I am talking about the hp p4014 which is much better of his own
most of them accepted that and gave me there printer for this deal and now I have exactly 64 t650 almost new printers in my storage
I thought to sale them one day when the chip will come and used them as replacement printers for my customers (those with enough toner)
so please stop be afraid sell only printers that you can remanufacture ther toners and say no to those who update there firmware to stop you like samsung and lexmark
and about samsung it is cheaper and better to by custom firmwares that is blocked for any updates rather than buy the chips that cost so much and not functioning with all firmwares
