Well here's some good news: The new
Static Control 4K "NeverTab" PCR....
I've had problems in the past with
Static Control PCRs, but I must tell you folks...YOU HAVE TO GIVE THESE A TRY !!!!!
For all you doubters out there, look at the attachment. This is a typical "visual" comparison between the new
Static Control PCR (on the right), and another aftermarket PCR (on the left).
Being a doubter myself (based on very painful experiences), I conducted some rather nasty testing to see if the hype was worthy. Here is
some of what I did (I will not tell what else I tried to get these to fail):
1) P3015 (55A): Performed full yield test with two cartridges. Identical builds except one had the new NeverTab PCR and one had a
FG PCR with (
SEE THIS) cream applied. I stopped testing after @ 6008, 5% pages (Using ISO_IEC-19752_2004_PAGE, 5% PDF).
2) P4015n (64A): Performed 1000 page continuous (ISO_IEC_19752_2004_PAGE, 5% PDF) test on each, followed by 100 30%/50%/100% grey scale pages.
3) HP4000 (27X): Performed same testing as number 2) above, except I found and used the worse TAB intensive crappy
toner I could find.
Every test came up similar to what you can see in the attachment.
Some Personal Notes:
1) The PCR design is physically much better--the outer end encapsulation issues of the past have been corrected.
2) MUCH less TAB (
Toner Additive Buildup) than any other aftermarket PCR I've seen, and less than the OEM !!!!
3) DO NOT use ANY "cream conditioning" on the
Static Control PCR--they don't need it. Just wipe them off with a lint free cloth and insert. Much quicker than using the (
SEE THIS) Cream we've seen that works wonders on other aftermarket PCRs.
4) Don't take my word for it. TRY THESE FOR YOURSELF !!!!!
I tried my hardest to make these PCRs collect excessive TAB but failed.
Please try to keep your "Slam Static" comments silent until you have had a chance to try these yourself--I was surely surprised and delighted with the results.
