Canon Pixma MP620 All-In-One Printer Review
Source: DIGITALCAMERAREVIEW.COM
The Canon Pixma MP620 is an all-in-one inkjet photo printer so it's safe to say without even reading the review that it's a busy little machine. It's packed with a scanner, copier, two paper trays, a built-in card reader and wireless network capability and decent print speeds for $150. Seems too good to be true.
That's why I was so delighted to get this printer in for review last month; I couldn't wait to see if the Canon Pixma MP620 was all that it claimed to be, especially after the positive review we gave the MP970 a few months back.

Canon PIXMA MP980 All-In-One Inkjet
Source: TRUSTEDREVIEWS.COM
When you're already making one of the best ranges of all-in-one printers, it may be hard to think of ways to improve. With the PIXMA MP980, Canon has decided to look at the inks, offering a different colour mix for those who want to print black and white as well as colour photos.
This is a bulky printer, like its predecessors, but the silver and black lines are clean and unfussy. A panel inset into the top surface of the scanner swings up to reveal the device's controls and a large 88mm LCD screen. Canon has always been good at control panels; the continued use of its rotating click-wheel for selecting menu options is here supplemented by two context-sensitive buttons, as well as a range of others, including separate ones for colour and black copies.

Review: Lexmark X6650 Wireless 4-in-1 Printer
Source: SMALLBUSINESSCOMPUTING.COM
In addition to its simplicty of form, the Lexmark X6650 also appeals to our sense of thrift, since its $130 price buys a copier, scanner, and fax as well as a printer, plus 802.11b/g Wi-Fi for wireless printing on a home network. Or a small office network, of course, although since Lexmark has sorted its inkjets into two groups the X6650 is officially part of the company's Home and Student Series. Its twin in the Small Office Pro series is called the X6675 and comes with a longer warranty and larger starter ink cartridges for $20 more.
The X6650 offers other checklist items for multifunction printer shoppers. There's a 25-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) on top, so multipage copying or faxing jobs avoid the chore of opening and closing the scanner lid to place one page at a time. A PictBridge USB port and two slots on the front panel for media cards (SD, MS, xD, MMC, and CF) allow printing images directly from USB flash drives or digital cameras' memory cards.

Dell 2335dn Laser MFP
Source: TRUSTEDREVIEWS.COM
The mono laser printer continues to be a stalwart of many offices and the multi-function version, which usually includes a scanner with Auto Document Feed (ADF), can be even more useful. Dell's 2335dn is a mid-range device, which the company claims is capable of 32ppm, making it ideal for small to medium workgroups.
There are a lot of different styles you can pick when designing a multifunction printer, but Dell seems to have gone for the 'Le Corbusier tank' look. Everything is monolithically square cut, with clean diagonals and rectangular apertures. The ADF manages to look pretty much like a turret and with a couple of caterpillar tracks underneath the 2335dn would be a scary piece of office munitions. It's has a big footprint for a mono laser machine.

Color Laserjet CM6040 MFP
Source: ITPRO.CO.UK
HP's Color Laserjet CM6040 MFP is a replacement for the 9500 series and is designed for large workgroups or even small departmental use. The basic machine – if you can call a 40ppm, A3, duplex, colour laser multifunction basic – can be expanded with extra trays, staplers and finishers, so can grow with its environment if requirements change.
As you might expect, this is a substantial machine, with a basic weight of 140kg, so you'll need to get it installed and find a place with good access to control panel and drawers. Everything important in the machine is accessed from the front, though you may need to get at its sides in the event of a paper jam.

Brother DCP-585CW All-In-One Inkjet
Source: TRUSTEDREVIEWS.COM
Brother now has a bewildering range of all-in-one printers on its books, so many that it's hard to believe it needs another. Although pitched as a high-end device, its price is still well under £100 and for this you get printing, scanning, copying and photo printing in a low-profile printer.
Although a little different in looks from most of its rivals, the DCP-585CW mimics many of its predecessors. Coloured in pale grey, with large areas of high-gloss, piano black, it's basically a large square box, roughly the size of a vinyl record deck, sloped slightly at the front to take the control panel and Brother's now trademark double-width, full-colour LCD display.

Epson Stylus Office BX300F All-In-One Inkjet
Source: TRUSTEDREVIEWS.COM
Most of Epson's new range of inkjet all-in-one printers follow the same lines, with a matte and gloss black finish and incorporating an Auto Document Feeder (ADF) over the flatbed scanner. The Stylus Office BX300F is at the low end of the range and with a bit of careful comparison shopping, can be found for under £50.
The paper path in the printer is typical of most Epson designs, with pages feeding from a near-vertical, telescopic paper tray at the rear to another at the front. The paper support in the rear tray isn't quite as easy to use as in previous models, mainly because it no longer has a smooth face resting against the paper. Thus it's best to move the guide out to full width before inserting paper stock.
The black control panel is well laid out and includes a number pad for the machine's fax functions. It's unusual to find a machine at this price offering fax functionality and even with the ubiquitous spread of e-mail, fax is the technology which will not die mainly because it just works.

Review: Epsons Artisan 800 All in One
Source: HARDWAREGEEKS.COM

I personally have never been excited about a printer, but when I was first introduced to the Artisan 800 by Epson this past July I immediately fell in love with it and when Epson finally announced it I knew I wanted one.
So when Epson told me they were sending me one for review, I was extremely excited in fact for the past 17 hours all I have done is play with the Artisan 800 non stop and I feel as if I know this Printer, Copier, Fax better than I know myself. The last time I was so excited about a product was when I bough my iBook 4 years ago, and I never would of thought I would get so excited about a printer.

Review: HP Deskjet D2545
Source: MACWORLD.COM
In a market where competition is fierce to create an affordable yet functional printer that can appeal to even the most casual user, HP has upped the ante by introducing the Deskjet D2545, an inexpensive ink-jet printer that’s also environmentally friendly.
The D2545 is comprised of 83 percent recycled plastic and costs $45. Considering how wasteful ink cartridges are, it’s also reassuring that the D2545’s cartridges are also made from recycled plastic resins. Replacing your ink will set you back $30, which is about average for printers like the D2545, but seems expensive when you realize that for another $15 you could just replace the printer itself—but that would sort of defeat the purpose of buying a printer made from mostly recycled material.

HP Photosmart D7560 Printer
Source: PCMAG.COM
Most printers meant for the home focus at least somewhat on photos, often to the point of dropping the ball on text and graphics. The HP Photosmart D7560 Printer ($149.99 direct) manages to focus even more on photos than most while doing a better-than-average job overall with text and graphics. It even prints on optical discs. The result seems nearly oxymoronic—a photocentric but surprisingly capable all-purpose home printer.

Lexmark X5650 All-In-One Inkjet Printer
Source: TRUSTEDREVIEWS.COM
Lexmark has recently done the facelift thing on its range of home and school inkjet all-in-ones and the X5650 sits firmly in the middle of this market. At relatively low cost, the machine is designed for printing, scanning, copying, photo print and fax. Even with the new look, though, the print engine is little changed from its predecessors.
Borrowing something from Canon’s curvy black and silver profiles, Lexmark uses mid-grey instead of silver and has designed its new machine with a wraparound effect, which is both functional and easy on the eye.
Lexmark has put a small handle on the right-hand side of the machine’s paper feed tray, to adjust the paper guides without having to move them by hand. We can't see this as a big advantage and we also wonder about the sprung flap, sitting in front of the tray – as with so many recent Lexmark models. It doesn't appear to do anything useful. We thought at first these flaps were designed to stop dust falling into the feed mechanisms, but considering the size of the gap between this flap and the paper, it must be pretty ineffective.
