Ink: Static Control's Canon CLI-8/PGI-5 chips

This is why I asked about a replacement chip. Thanks to the internal "fuse", if ink levels fall below a certain level (as most will do), then resetting the chip is useless. I don't see an easy manner to replace or bypass the internal fuse on these. However an replacement chip that would bypass the need for the internal fuse seems to be an answer. Of course this is relative only to the 69 and 78 series as best I understand.

Thanks,
Mike

Ink: Ink & Toner Cartridge Refilling Machines Required

Hendo hello,

And thanks for your time. What you are saying may make sense for retail business where the empty has minimum cost. (Of course you face other procedure problems reducing quality). But in the wholesale business where you could apply automation and procedures giving you acceptable quality (something you can not have in the retail business) the cost of the empties makes sometimes the inkjet refilling business not financially sound.

Thanks again for your time

Printers: PSC 1315 - Slow printing

If you have canon printers/scanners installed on the same computer
as HP scanners/printers, you may be having problems with conflicts
between the 2 print spoolers. Canon & HP are incompatible in the print spooler department.

I found that info a few years back on the Canon Website.

My solution was to have 3 computers -
1 for HP, 1 for Lexmark, 1 For Canon - no more freezups,
no more crashing, no more slow print.
